I didn’t realize it myself when I first got started and I spent an enormous amount of timing spinning my wheels, but getting nowhere.
Not until I invested in becoming a better entrepreneur, did I realize how to be more productive. It’s more than just having the right tools to create an online success. You also need the right skills and a strategy that will position you as the authority where people SEEK YOU OUT.

The Biggest Mistake I Ever Made
When I first started my business in 2013, I thought I was doing everything I was supposed to be doing! I was VERY “busy”!
I spent over a year being “busy!” I listened to every call, sat on every training webinar, attended every event, memorized scripts, hosted home parties… all while raising my 18-month old twins. I was “busy” and I got burnt out FAST!
What I didn’t realize is that I mistook activity for accomplishment. I was “busy”, but not doing the activities that would get me more customers. Sound familiar?
I almost gave up! But I knew there had to be a better way. So instead of wishing for my life to get easier, I decided that I would become better…A better marketer, a better business owner, a better leader!

Final Thoughts on Productive Work
Being BUSY can be addictive! It can make you feel like you are accomplishing things and checking off items off your list. However, it is a myth that being “busy” equals more income! Productive work are activities that move you closer to your goals. AND as a business owner, your main goals should be to producing income and provide excellent service.
Mompreneurs can make the most of their limited time by committing to doing 80% productive work during their designated income producing hours and set aside 20% of that time to handle urgent business issues that will inevitably arise or work on special projects.
So, first determine when you can be MOST productive each day. These are your selling hours (even if you’re busy with your work and family you can start in as little as 15 minutes and scale up).
Then, adhere to justaMOMpreneur’s Success Rule #1… NEVER use your selling hours on non-selling activities!
